> Your measurements are determined by 1)  Hips at the widest point & 2) Bust at the fullest point

Tips for Interpreting Your Particular Shape

No significant difference between hips, waist and bust?
You’re what’s known as a Straight (Ruler or Banana) Shape.

Waist significantly wider than your hips and equal to or almost as wide as your bust?
You’re probably an Apple Shape.

Bust and hips about the same width but your waist is much smaller?
You’re the classic Hourglass Shape.

Hips a lot wider than your waist and bust?
You likely have what is known as a Pear Shape.

Torso and upper body wider than your hips?
This is the Inverted Triangle.


#2 Find Your Flattering Style

No one is perfect,
but you can find your perfect style.

What to Look for in Bikini and Swimsuit Tops

Bandeau: A crisscrossing style in the front, often softly gathered at the sides, this look creates curves on a smaller chest.

Carnivale: A flirty little flare that helps to emphasize a smaller chest and broaden the look of shoulders.

Halter: Tying around the neck and across the back, this style supports a medium or larger chest.

String:  Similar to the halter, but usually less material, this is good for boosting the smaller chest and broadening the shoulders.

Underwire: Extra support and coverage for the medium or large chest, in a bra-like styling.

Select Your Right Cut in Bikini and Swimsuit Bottoms:

Brazilian:  Narrow hips are accentuated by this simple, below the belly-button style.

High-Waisted: As the name implies, this style sits above the belly-button and helps to hide not-so-flat tummies and muffin tops.
Hipster:  Sits on the hips, helping to lengthen the look of legs while giving coverage in the rear.
Side-Tie:  Similar to Hipster, this style features ties on the sides to play up the hips while providing coverage in the rear.
String:  Straight-forward style that uses strings to tie on the side, providing less coverage as it flatters wider hips and thighs.

Tips for Selecting Your ‘Swim Suitable’ Style: “If the suit fits, wear it” may not be the only consideration. No matter how flattering the fit, comfort is a must! You’ll wear what makes you the most comfortable. Even if you’ve got a great beach body, wearing a bikini on the beach may not be within your comfort zone, so wear what looks good and feels good to YOU.
